People in Dubai Love Action Films': John Abraham

The Force 2 star cast is in Dubai once again to talk about their next thriller where Bollyood diva Sonakshi Sinha is playing a RAW agent and John's role is that of a police officer. The film is slated for a release on 18th November. "Force 2 is a Dubai film. People here love action films," said John Abraham in a press conference today in the city ahead of the theatrical release of his next film, a sequel, Force 2 with Sonakshi Sinha. Besides entertainment, the lead start cast conveyed that the duo will be on a mission together in the film. Besides responding to one query on the demonitisation back home in India and that it will in a way impact the box office, John also confirmed to the media present at the event that this film is not anti-Pakistan rather it's not against any country. "It's an espionage thriller. We are not in that space but we entertain a universal audience. We are raising questions within our own governance. That's the way I would like to define Force 2," he said. The event kick-started with fun moments when the Akira-star Sonakshi said John lives inside the gym while she can't stay more than 45 minutes inside the gym. John added a bit of fun when he said that the Dabangg girl Sonakshi is always in the Rs 100-cr bracket (the Rs 100-crore club) while he has an audience in Dubai. Both the actors also talked about the digital audience and how good content still rules. While not always sequels do really well in Bollywood, let's see what Force 2, a sequel to the 2011 film, directed by Abhinay Deo has to offer on the big screen! We have just watched Farhan Akhtar's Rock On 2, another film in the sequel category. While we are thinking about the BO results, John is already quite optimistic about it. "As a producer, I'm clear that Force 2 is going to be a plus," he said on the sidelines of the event today.
